Bas van Exter is the founder of Distinctly Different, the online shop for stylish men. After getting a masters degree in both Business Economics and Tax Law at the University of Amsterdam, he started out as a tax lawyer. Walking around daily in the business district of Amsterdam he noticed the need for quality shoe care and men's accessories. That realisation resulted in The ShoeCare-Shop, an online shop in luxury shoe care. After a few years as a tax lawyer he switched to a full time focus on his own company that by now has grown to a full range of specialised shops for shoe care, shaving and style accessories.
