The Invincible Jacket by Saboteur

The Invincible Jacket by San Francisco based clothier Saboteur is, quite simply, the ultimate gentleman’s blazer. It’s windproof. It’s waterproof. It’s stain resistant and breathable. It’s a truly unique Gentleman’s jacket.

Naturally, Alister & Paine doesn’t endorse anything without first trying it and the same goes with this secret agent inspired blazer.

The Invincible Jacket by Saboteur

At first glance it’s an ordinary wool jacket. Then your eye is drawn to the notch lapel with the silk button hole; a very nice detail. Your eyes take a brief joyride down the sleeves to the functional buttons, aka surgeons cuffs, and the asymmetric ticket pocket. Wait a second. Is this a real silk lining? It sure is. That’s when you think to yourself: Why haven’t I heard of Saboteur before?

Good question.

In an exclusive interview Saboteur Co-Founder Kristen Slowe said “it’s fashion with a wink. It’s a blazer for superhero’s.”

The Invincible Jacket is treated with Schoeller—the same stuff found on jackets for mountain climbers and snowboarders—and is a blazer that would make both Heinrich Harrer and Bernhard Roetzel proud… although we don’t recommend wearing it on your next attempt on the Eiger Nord Wand. We did, however, pour water on it and get into a snowball fight while wearing it.

The fit off the rack was a modern slim and fit perfectly–but the sizes are limited. The Invincible Jacket is not available in Short and comes in Small (35-37), Medium (38-40), Large (41-43), and Extra Large (44-46).

As they say at Saboteur: You’re a man. Dress like one.
